We received this statement from Tresa Sanders, PR for Keyshia Cole. Keyshia wants you to know that her mom Frankie is sick and Keyshia is hurt and dismayed that people continue to exploit her mom’s sickness for their entertainment.

A source close to Keyshia told us Keyshia is in a very positive place and she just doesn’t think that it’s appropriate for young people to see and read about that. Her intentions is to see growth and she wants kids to see something positive and something different. That’s why she removed herself from her reality TV show because there was no growth.

Keyshia does not find this situation amusing. She clings to her relationship with God first and she’s concentrating on her unborn baby and her fiance Boobie.

I don’t keep up with Twitter drama, but clearly, looking at the statement, Keyshia values her friendship with her close friend Monica and she was probably hurt when her family dragged Mo into their mess at Christmas

STATEMENT FROM KEYSHIA COLE

To all my friends and fans – It’s time that I clear the air. It’s not a secret that I haven’t been in contact with my mother Frankie, and my sisters Neffe and Elite and I never wanted to air out our differences to the public. While I won’t go into detail here I find it necessary to let you guys know I decided to stop communication with them because I was at a point in my life where I needed serenity and peace to move forward.

Please know I love my family very much but it was time to let it go. You guys are a witness to a lot of what was happening from watching on air and online. Now that I am becoming a mom my passion for having a loving and peaceful home for my child is my #1 priority. It’s very important to both Daniel and I. My plate is very full; I have a new baby coming, we are planning our wedding and I am working in the studio on a new album that I am close to completing. The stress that my family is giving me with their constant false reports is not healthy and it’s not what I need at this time in my life.

Please understand that there are only a few people that can officially confirm or deny anything that’s happening in my life and that’s me, Daniel, and my publicist, Tresa Sanders. And my girl Monica never lies.

its obvious that the past few years been rough dealing with frankie neffe and elite... people shouldn't take frankie as entertainment and using that to exploit her but they do because they are ignorant... many reasons why people tend to do something or say something is because they want peace.... and by this letter its clear that keyshia wants peace in her life speically with all these big wonderful things that happening to her in the next few months.... shes about to become a mother and a wife thats a miracle and she is truely bless to have that strong triangle along with monica which i would love to have as a friend.

everything keyshia said comes off as honesty and she kept it truthful.... we shouldn't get on them for this because this is keyshia choice and she feels as tho she needs to do whats right for her and her family..... her own family! and our opinions should to be supportive and be excited about her getting married and having a child and continuing what she has done for so long. monica also said that keyshia is thinking about getting on twitter so this might be a big thing to each out... she didn't have to do this but she did it because she knows all the drama on the blogs and certain "sites" write and the criticism which her own family done to her name..... jealousy and ignorance is strong so what they did was completely out of line...

im excited for keyshia shes getting married having a child and doing the album and is going to be in tyler perrys movie why did i get married 2... she has so much in the works for her and many more! she is a blessing and good things has came from all she done for herself and her family even tho they trying to bring her down for the things she hasnt done she done way more in return. this is when appreciation should come in clearly people will do that but i think once she has the baby and gets married they will be there... right now she just dealing with the public because her family has brought they personal business to the public {frankie and elite} she is not married {frankie} which she went on radio saying this! clearly there is alot of resentment towards keyshia because of whateva... and they might not understand why she hasn't been around with family and done things for her own nephews and nieces but done things for other celebrities kids... regarldess she given them was love! and love should been enough.

anyway im excited and happy and keyshia is going to glow and have a wonderful baby.... and a beautiful wedding and going to create music that still touches our hearts and reach our souls!

Yeah she pretty much shut them down with this statement!!!! I aint mad at her!!!I knew that all that crap they were doing was slowly getting to her. @@@@ KUDOS KC! :)

I am glad that KC finally made a statement & cleared the air with all that drama. Now maybe, just maybe she can continue to have peace during this happy time in her life!!!
Glad to know that she has almost completed her album and we will be getting some more great music. I wish KC and Daniel all the "BEST"!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone feel like she exploted Frankie & Neffe for her own purposes? I personally don't think so; she wanted tell her story and get people more familiar with her. On other boards they are saying that she knew what she was doing when she put them on her show and she's only pushing them away because she's in a relationship now and doesn't want to be associated with them.

I wish her luck in everything in life she wants/chooses to do.

That's F'ed up, Keyshia brought her family on tv and exploited them, You never give up on your family, i believe their was a way for them to work it out, but other than that no matter what my mother has done to me, i have never given up on her, my mother was in a crack house and everything when i was a child and now she's out and still a little crazy but i have never given up on my family, im sorry yall but i am in the same situation that Keyshia is in and to see she's done this to her family has deeply upset me and i am very hurt and disturbed by this, as far as Neffe and Elite, i dont like them so it doesnt matter to me
